“Old fashioned but clean, good location”
The location sits in a quieter part of Addis yet remains central to everything, and the staff spoke limited English but were helpful; my bed was very comfortable and the price was good for the area I wanted to stay in. I felt safe in the hotel and the surrounding area, which is crucial for a solo traveller, and my expectations were exceeded after reading some negative reviews. It’s not luxury by any means but it’s fine for the money. The shower worked but the handheld jet’s flow head was damaged, and the shower flooded onto the sink due to poor design. The hotel is a little old and the bedrooms are old-fashioned, but it offers good value. It would have been nice to have eggs for breakfast, though I think I could have paid extra for them.
