A really nice place with exceptionally clean, well‑maintained gers, and the staff were absolutely lovely, kind, and attentive. One thing to know before booking: all meals aren’t all included, contrary to what the listed price suggests. We were charged an extra 70k per person for dinner at the end of our stay, which made it feel expensive compared to other gers and accommodations on our trip. Worth confirming what's included when you book. No complaints about the staff.
When settling the bill, the staff converted the room rate from dollars to Mongolian tugriks at a rate of 3800, which was very unfriendly. The dinner buffet was pricey, the food was scarce, and it wasn’t worth it. The room had many tiny insects that crawled onto me at night.
Very comfortable, tasty food, and very close to Ongi Monastery.

“La magia di Ongi”
The location was fantastic. The camp is a few years old but they recently added a few tents with private bathrooms, newer and more comfortable, where we stayed. It’s the best place to experience the magic of Ongi, cutting a journey of hundreds of kilometers between Kharkhorin and the Gobi. Nothing to complain about. If I could suggest something, I’d increase the variety at the buffet.
