We stayed five nights at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yodoyabashi and were fully satisfied. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and the breakfast offered a wide variety. The staff were friendly and professional, and the location is ideal—just by Yodoyabashi Station with easy access to all of Osaka. Everything ran smoothly from check‑in to check‑out, and we’d definitely return.

When we arrived that day, the staff on the first floor informed us that the hotel was closed due to a fire alarm that had gone off about a week earlier, yet we had received no prior notice. They offered free cancellation or a transfer to the North Beach branch, but it was already evening, so we had to accept the move. We were told to walk there ourselves, with no shuttle provided. When I complained at the front desk, the response was to blame the notification entirely on the booking platform. A globally‑chain hotel handling it this way is very uncomfortable and quite terrible.

I had my reservation swapped with the hotel in Kihatama because of a fire, and I accepted the change thinking it would match Yodobashi’s standard. The hotel turned out to be farther away and not on the same level; the room was tiny, barely enough space for a suitcase (even though I’ve stayed in other Japanese hotels). Breakfast was okay, nothing special.

The staff were extremely friendly, the room was spotless and breakfast was tasty, and the location was handy thanks to the nearby metro line, though the room and bathroom felt too cramped for two people.

We stayed in Kitahama at the owners’ request from Yodoyabashi: the stay was pleasant, amenities were available, and the real highlight was the breakfast, both in quality and atmosphere. The location was good and well served. The services were decent, but a bit more care could make them great—for example, the pajamas, which other places provide on the bed, are taken from an open hall area here, compromising hygiene assurance.
