“Grei overnatting, litt klamme senger og dårlig info”

The price was good, the place was clean and quiet. The beds were rough/dirty, so we froze all night. When we came down for lunch we had been given wrong information, so we missed breakfast and had a stressful stop at the gas station.

The staff were kind and patient. Finding the location was difficult because the name on the map was slightly different from the advertised one.

The accommodation was inexpensive but lacked major comforts; suitable for a layover. Wi‑Fi was only available near the reception, and a power outlet near the bed would have been handy.

“Good place to relax after hike in the national park.”

The room was great for the price (at least off‑season). I thought I’d book a bed in a shared 4‑bed room, but instead I got the whole room with an attached bathroom. The room is huge, hot water is plentiful, the bathroom has a heated floor, and the bed is good. You’ll need to bring your own bedding or pay extra for it. Check‑in takes place in a restaurant 100 m before the hostel itself. The restaurant/hotel that manages the hostel is surprisingly reasonably priced (though it is in Norway) and the breakfast buffet is good and reasonably priced. There’s a small kitchen where you can brew tea/coffee and warm up food bought at the grocery store. The staff at check‑in and at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The value for money is truly exceptional.
