The hotel has a private covered garage, the location is very quiet, and we walked around the city at night, through the central square, and felt safe.
“Excelente opção”
I was worried about heating in July, but the room kept me warm with a good mattress, cozy blankets, and a portable heater that I put in the bathroom for those chilly nights. The shower was generous with hot water, and the bathroom itself was roomy with a nice view. It’s close to the town center and a few good restaurants—just a short walk to El Esteco and Hermano Molina.
The location is solid, but the bathroom could use an update.

Breakfast was a real treat, especially the coffee and pastries. The downside? The bathroom feels a bit dated and the hot water never really hit the right temperature.

Stayed at Hotel Portal del Santo and it was a delight. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The room was spotless, super quiet, and had a great view of the pool. Breakfast stole the show—by far the best I’ve had on my two‑week trip through Jujuy and Salta. Lots of fresh options and everything tasted amazing. It’s a relaxing place with excellent service, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.
