“STAY AWAY. This hotel is falling apart”
The air conditioning failed throughout the hotel—no AC and Lima is now super hot and humid. They advertise AC, but there’s no freon; all you get is noise and hot air blowing on your face, and you CAN NOT open the windows. The elevator is too small; you can’t fit with your luggage. The manager is never there, and the front‑desk staff was rude and offered no resolution. To make matters worse, the hotel is not actually located at Park Olivar; they just borrowed the name. I would never return, even if they offered a free room. P.S. there’s a big construction in front of the hotel, so you can’t rest at all—you’re hit with dust, noise, and heat. Honestly, probably the worst hotel ever stayed in Peru.
