“Excellent stay. Wonderful property and staff.”
Great spot. Friendly staff. Spotless, roomy, and comfy. Huge breakfast spread. The downside is the many stairs—no elevator—so it’s not ideal for seniors or anyone with mobility issues.

Hotel Acadia, situated in the heart of Old Quebec, offers accommodations ranging from cosy rooms to romantic suites with whirlpools and fireplaces. Exposed beams, stone walls, and hardwood floors evoke old-world charm. High-speed internet access and modern conveniences complement the hotel's historic ambiance. The Plains of Abraham, Citadel, and Parliament Building are within walking distance, as is the Quebec City Convention Centre.

The location was great and the room was very nice! I could watch Netflix on the room TV, so I could relax in my room. The hotel had no elevator, but the front desk person who handled check‑in carried my luggage to my room, which was awesome! The only downside was the lack of an elevator.

La situation de l’hôtel est parfaite. Le personnel était très agréable. Et le petit déjeuner excellent. La manque de rangement qui peut être dérangeant si on reste plus d’une nuit mais ce n’était pas notre cas

Only the location mattered. I booked months ahead but ended up with a basement room that had no windows and wallpaper that looked like a prison cell. No mention of a windowless basement was ever made during booking. Paying $400 a night for that is unacceptable and feels deceptive. I asked for a room change, but the front desk staff was rude and refused. Breakfast was served in a dark, windowless basement, the food was mediocre, and the coffee was the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel. Worse still, they didn’t even leave a small bottle of water in the room—a basic courtesy many hotels provide. For that price, I expected comfort, honesty, and respectful service. Instead, I got a deeply disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel.
