The Escale Oceania Saint Malo hotel is situated on the seafront, facing Sillon Beach, and within a 14-minute walk of Saint-Malo Train Station. Modern rooms feature flat-screen TVs and sea views. The seafront spot is beautiful, only a ten‑minute walk to the old town; most staff were friendly and attentive, the TV screen was huge, showers were good, and the bar area was comfy for nightcaps and served a simple breakfast for 8 euros; the windows opened properly. The downside was limited clothing storage for two people staying more than a couple of nights—only six hangers—and the room was a little small with little space around the beds, but nothing serious.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war ausgesprochen freundlich, höflich und herzlich. Und erst der Ausblick aus dem Fenster … einfach traumhaft! Allein für diese wunderschöne Aussicht lohnt es sich, hierherzukommen!. Die Bestätigung für den Garagenplatz haben wir leider erst nach unserer Abreise erhalten. Trotzdem wurde uns ein Parkplatz in der Garage zur Verfügung gestellt
