What an amazing place! We stayed in a comfy apartment with two bedrooms, a nice bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace was spacious and a few steps away from the pool. Everything was tastefully decorated, and there were lovely beds by the pool. The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. Jonathan was a real gem, assisting us with everything. We also rented a car from them, and the service was lightning‑fast—upon arrival we got the car keys after just one signature. Huge thanks to Jonathan and Yon for making our vacation fantastic! The only negative was that we couldn’t stay longer ☺️

The team at Belnem House actually runs the resort together, no hierarchy, and you can feel that. It’s very cozy, friendly, homely, and relaxed. When they’re working around the resort, you can easily reach them. They’re very involved. The communication before and during our stay was pleasant and good. The resort offers many facilities, everything was thought out. It’s centrally located and has plenty of parking for your car. The bed was wonderful, and we slept well. However, there was noise from the busy street at the front of the resort, and our room (no. 8) unfortunately faced that. If you stay on the other side, you’ll have less of that. A cozy terrace borders our room, and we sat there a lot. Because the space between the terrace and the pool loungers is quite narrow, others walk behind the loungers, so privacy is limited. The interior styling (inside and outside the rooms) and amenities like the coffee maker and shower items were top. The resort outside the room was well maintained and looked super clean and tidy. After reading the almost perfect reviews, we quickly chose this resort, but unfortunately a few important things disappointed us: the hygiene in the room was not great. There was a strange urine and mold smell in the (bath)room that got worse after showering. The smell was truly horrible. Also, water ran from the shower into the bedroom, which was unpleasant. We were shocked to find live cockroaches in the bedroom when we came home at night. We first contacted the manager via WhatsApp and phone and asked for a solution. Initially, she said she couldn’t call anyone to wake us up (staff isn’t 24/7, which is fine, but we think someone should be available if needed) and asked if we could take photos of the cockroaches since she had never seen them before. We didn’t accept that. Eventually, staff came and helped us very politely. We were allowed to move to another room that same evening. The next morning, another friendly staff member helped us move our belongings. A washing machine was available (so you can have fresh towels more than once every four days). However, the washing machine was so dirty at the edges that we had to clean it ourselves (even that was in the evening) before doing our laundry. Beyond the hygiene issues, there were also some defects in the room that, in my opinion, shouldn’t exist in a resort that claims to think of everything. A room that’s in order is my number one priority. I passed the list of defects to the staff.

The hotel sits in a prime central spot, boasts excellent facilities, and the staff are incredibly friendly. If you stay in one of the studios, the pool is right outside your door, which is a real perk. The shower layout feels a bit awkward; water splashes everywhere and the heat makes it smell quickly. Also, the blinds over the bathroom window let in so much light that you’re woken up at the first hint of dawn.
