The hotel itself is brand‑new and impressively clean, which was a relief after a long day. Unfortunately, the surrounding town feels like one of the dirtiest I’ve seen, with nightly gunshots, roaming cattle rummaging through trash, and virtually no police presence. The entrance lacked any security guard, making the whole area feel unsafe after dark.
