“Māju sajūta.”

I felt at home. The place is cozy, a small guesthouse with a beautiful terrace view and quietness. The town center is just an 8‑minute walk. Safety is very good all day, evening, and night. One of the beautiful beaches, Ramla Bay, is a 30‑minute walk. Great, really. The host is very responsive and will recommend everything you want to know and more. Two pools are available, but we didn’t use them this time because we swam in another lagoon every day. The sea at the end of October was quite warm and the water was clear and beautiful! We used the HopOn‑HopOff bus for one day and the other two days we moved around with public transport to specific places. Very convenient.

“Lovely!”

Natasha was very friendly and helpful. We could drop off our luggage before check‑in because we arrived very early. She gave us useful recommendations. The room offered great views, was spacious, and had everything we needed. The pool was nice, though we didn’t have much time to relax there. There was also a cute kitty! A great place to stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The mattress was a bit on the hard side, but it wasn’t annoying.

“Non soddisfacente.”

The staff were friendly and the bathroom in my room was nice. I didn’t like the property overall, not so much because of the decor – that’s a matter of taste – but because it seemed poorly maintained and the smell I caught as soon as I entered was unpleasant, stale and closed‑in. The room itself had the same odor, and it was an interior room with two windows facing the reception. The cleanliness didn’t meet my standards: two towels per person, a washcloth and a shower towel were already quite worn, as were the sheets and the duvet cover. The mugs by the kettle weren’t especially clean. Dust was visible on the wall. I believe small details matter for a pleasant stay and hope these comments are taken constructively to improve.

“Terrible, don’t bother going.”

The balcony was filthy, the bathroom window was right next to the shower with no curtains or blinds, so anyone in the next room or on the opposite side could see into the bathroom. The mattress was uncomfortable, the water heater was off and we weren’t told to turn it on ourselves, so we had to shower with cold water. Despite all these problems, the owner refused to compensate us for our ruined holiday.
