The property looks stunning, restored yet still beautiful, and we stayed in the largest of the three rooms; the bathroom is huge, the bedroom is super bright, and the bed is incredibly comfortable, though the Wi‑Fi doesn’t reach the balcony and the suite we occupied.

“Nice place but a bit over priced for what is offered”

The suite balcony offered a lovely view of the lake, but the bathroom had an extremely bright light and a loud fan that turns on and off automatically, which was very inconvenient when using the toilet in the middle of the night and forced all the lights on; this detail negatively affected our stay. After booking, the host told us we had to arrive before 5 pm—even though the original check‑in time was much later—because she claimed a road in front of the hotel would close for a festival; we rearranged everything to meet her 5 pm deadline, yet the road never closed. It seemed she just didn’t want to work past 5 and used that as an excuse; the unprofessional and cold communication made the experience a bit strange.

The location and the bed were good, but the toilet seat was broken and the tap was faulty; the staff spoke very little English, and you had to give an exact arrival time in advance, which is hard to do when you’re traveling around.

“Meglio di un 5 stelle!”

A stunning find. The villa was restored with great taste, keeping the charm of a historic home while looking almost brand new. The view of Lake Bolsena is spectacular and the location is super convenient, just steps from Montefiascone’s historic centre and with free parking right in front. The rooms are truly top‑class, elegant and finished like a luxury hotel. The welcome was flawless: friendly, helpful and very professional staff. I’ll definitely come back, maybe for a longer family holiday. Highly recommended!
