The room was spacious. However, for two days the cleaning didn’t happen before I got back to the room, which was always at 16:00h. The water refill service was ineffective; I had to request it every day.

I booked the Signature Family to get perks beyond a regular guest, but the main restaurant served dry food on a hot track that felt like a platter; the beach service was awful, with beer taking forever and always having to fetch it myself. At Poseidon, the beach restaurant, I had to beg for a medium‑rare steak and a clean shrimp portion. The Japanese spot was a big let‑down, taking so long for sashimi that I gave up. The Baía e Brasa buffet was absurd, forcing me to plead for a single piece of picanha. We paid for a service that fell short of 30% of expectations, and I wish the management would call to explain the shoddy services the Gran Palladiun offers.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful, though a few things stood out. The buffet food, both at the main and Family Selection, was repetitive but tasty, and the themed restaurants were fantastic. Pool service at Family Selection was excellent, and I must thank Lely from the entertainment department for resolving many issues during our stay; without him it would have been much harder. Gabriel, the pool waiter, was always friendly and proactive, very attentive. However, when we arrived we were placed in a remote villa and had to complain to get a Family Selection room, which was what I had booked. Even so, the room felt somewhat provisional, being far from the Family Selection pool. The bathroom divider was frosted glass, and when we turned on the night light it illuminated the whole room. Dinner at Family Selection never varied; the quality was good but always the same dishes. The table‑service coffee system was very inefficient; we had to keep calling for a cup, and when it arrived it was lukewarm or cold. The main pool activities were always the same with the same music, and the minibar didn't chill drinks, keeping water at room temperature.

The bed was comfortable, yet the children’s pool was out of service for six of the seven days we stayed, and the Family Selection label offered no advantage—there was no exclusive restaurant reservation, and people wandered into areas they shouldn’t have because there was no control. The spa’s wet area only opened at 16:00, which is useless when the sun sets at 17:00, and during our week the dry sauna didn’t work for two days while the wet one never worked at all. Being placed on the second floor with a baby made moving the stroller a nightmare, especially since my parents could have stayed on the ground floor. We also weren’t told we needed to register the wristband to use the cup, and the staff were constantly grumpy. Having stayed at many Brazilian resorts and always paid premium, this one didn’t live up to anything.
