“Strongly recommend you to try this jungle style with air-conditioner lakeside hotel!”
The room and services went beyond what we expected. The host had already asked about our dinner preferences the night we arrived and set everything up so we could relax and enjoy a meal right after the safari. The room was spacious enough for multiple suitcases, with a kettle, refrigerator, and kitchenware. The air‑conditioner and fan worked well to cool the room; you might want to switch them off with just a thin sheet at night. The bed was large and comfortable, and the room was clean, tidy, and bug‑free, with convenient sockets by the bedside and in the lounge. The bathroom had a jungle theme and felt like bathing in the wild; small frogs often appeared near the sink or toilet—nothing to fear, just wildlife. Remember to close the toilet lid to keep them out. Toiletries, a hair dryer, and towels were provided, though only cold water was available. Cleanliness was well maintained. The dining area faces the lake, making it a perfect spot to relax while enjoying meals and drinks, and portions were generous, so request smaller servings to avoid food waste during difficult times. Parking was right in front of the room, making it safer and convenient. The host was friendly, talkative, and knowledgeable about birds, having worked as a guide before; he shared books and encouraged us to record species sightings from the lake on the dining wall. He was always ready with food, so we never got hungry after the trip. The location is just one step from the lake, the easiest spot to catch sunrise and sunset and watch birds flying in the early morning. This privilege the nearby hotel, which requires you to walk across their fences, can’t offer. The only issues were that some sockets still use the three‑round pins, so an adaptor might be needed; dining by the lake can attract mosquitoes; use the curtain and mat to avoid slipping after a shower; and the music festival on the far side of the lake was too noisy until 2 am, which should be addressed by the government as it affected other tourists and locals.
