The lady was very kind and helpful, but the price of 60 euros for a room felt far too high for what was offered. The property is not in the center of Rieti but in a rural area; the house appears never renovated or updated, with furnishings and a bathroom dating back to the seventies/eights. The bathroom is shared, there is no air conditioning, and the room only had an old fan. What disappointed me the most was the breakfast. The photos in the listing show cakes and homemade preparations, yet when we arrived we found only a packaged croissant in a clear bag and a pastry, both cheap discount items. Given the price, even offering a fresh croissant for a euro would have made guests feel more welcomed. Overall, the value for money is definitely disproportionate: the amount charged is not justified by the location, the condition of the house, or the services provided.

The place was quiet, the owner was friendly, and there was private parking. Unfortunately it wasn’t equipped for this exceptional heat, but the owner kindly supplied a fan. That was the only flaw I found, and it was an unusual situation.
