The place sits well, close to a big market and the entrance of Praia do Amor, and the pool was always spotless. Breakfast was very simple, really plain. Our room had a kitchen with pots, cups, plates and cutlery available. Unfortunately the bedding was only average; there were no extra sheets or blankets, for example. Maybe because it’s called an “apartment” it’s meant for people who bring more stuff, but we were a larger group needing more space. Overall the price‑to‑value ratio paid off, but the simplicity of everything should be noted.
“Desayuno muy completo y amabilidad del dueño”
It’s very close to the center and a 15‑minute walk to Playa de Amor. Having a pool makes it even better; after a day of walking it’s nice to hit the pool. Breakfast is very good and complete. The owner’s friendliness is extraordinary, giving you tips for places to visit and making you feel at home. Nothing to complain about, everything is exceptional.
“Good value, comfy bed, but breakfast is basic”
The spot was spot‑on for price and location – even though the place is basic, everything was spotless and the bed was surprisingly comfy. I loved having a hammock on the balcony to relax in. The only let‑down was the breakfast, which was pretty bare‑bones.
Being a bit away from the bustle is a plus. The rooms are very small and still fit a bunk bed, there’s no shower, no box, the air‑conditioning works poorly and it shuts off at night without our input.
The location is very good and the stay itself is great.
