The central spot was perfect, right in the heart of town. The room was clean, comfy, and a good size. Even though it sits above a pub, I heard nothing from downstairs, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming. Having food and drinks downstairs was convenient, and the dog‑friendly policy was a big plus. The only minor snag was the rear entrance door—it was hard to lock with the key given, but I eventually figured it out; maybe they should tweak the lock.
