I recently stayed at Las Palmas Hotel in Munnar near Devikulam; it’s one of the best around, about 5 km from the city, so traffic is light and walking is easy. The rooms are spacious, the staff are polite, gentle, and friendly, and the food on the first‑floor restaurant is homely, tasty, and affordable. No dislikes.

The place works well for families and couples; everyone on staff was approachable and hospitable, making for a very good experience. The rooms were neat and clean, though the price feels a bit high for budget travelers.

The location is great. However, the bedsheets weren’t changed and the cleaning was lacking; they told us they didn’t leave the key, so we didn’t clean the room, which is not acceptable. They also have a master key.
