The private open‑air bath overlooking Mt. Fuji on our deck was absolutely stunning. The room was the biggest we’ve had in Japan. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The floor mattress could have had a bit more cushioning, especially for sleeping.

The room is beautiful with a lovely view, and the staff are very friendly.

The public bath is spectacular. It’s a bit dated; a small refresh would help.

An old‑fashioned, charming traditional house in a great spot. We stayed in a “Fuji view” room with a Rotemburo on the terrace, which was unique! The onsen was great, and the roof terrace was wonderful. The food pleased us. The idea of replacing some Rotemburo with noisy whirlpools felt clumsy: when our neighbors used the whirlpool, the peaceful stay in the Rotemburo was ruined. We also wished for more explanation about the dishes at the Kaiseki meal, even though they were very tasty.
