“It was what I expected.”

The room was clean, quiet, and felt safe. It was close to restaurants, shops, and downtown for activities. However, many rooms only had a minimal amount of closet and shelf space.

“A gold old-fashioned motel with plenty of breakast, hot water, and ice.”

The motel stayed quiet, and by about 10 PM everyone was still calm even though people sometimes gathered outside. The breakfast area was tidy and had plenty of options to get ready for the day. The AC worked well, the water was hot, and the shower was good. The renovation was obvious and met our needs, and we appreciated being able to go straight from the car to the room. The water on the countertop was a problem—the faucet seemed too short for the sink, so it splashed a lot. I’m not sure if the water left a ring in the toilet, but it should have been fixed. The fan cover in the bathroom needed cleaning. Overall, these were minor details that were expected.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was decent. The air‑conditioning made a loud noise, the rooms weren’t well insulated, and there was no coffee maker or kettle.

“The employee was extremely kind and helpful. She apologized, but it's not clean.”

We never stayed. As soon as we set our things down, a roach ran across the desk. When I moved my belongings and turned to my right, where the windows are, bugs were everywhere in the window seal. We left and went to the Hampton. The roaches and bugs were a problem.
