The staff were warm and helpful, and the breakfast was solid, plus the hotel sits close to a bus station. The building itself feels dated and would benefit from a serious refurbishment; my room had mold in the bathroom and marks on the carpet, headboard, and tables, and sound travels through the walls with no insulation at all.

This hotel offers an ideal location for exploring the city, situated in the heart of the city center, with nearby attractions within easy reach. However, navigating local transportation can be a bit tricky, requiring the use of a China-based taxi booking app. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel's central location makes up for it.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was enjoyable, but unfortunately, we didn't experience anything out of the ordinary.
