The room is air‑conditioned, features sound‑proof walls and provides free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Guests can choose either one double bed or two single beds, and an extra bed or a crib can be added on request. A private bathroom includes a shower, and the room is equipped with a minibar, a tea‑ and coffee‑maker and a flat‑screen satellite TV.

I liked the spot, close to the port and easy to reach the city center, with plenty of cafés around, and it was quiet at night. The Wi‑Fi kept dropping and I couldn’t chat on my messenger; the cabinet under the sink was very worn, the baseboard in the room had peeled off, and the bathroom had only one roll of toilet paper—by the next day I had to look for more on the floor and finally found some.

The room was very clean and came equipped with good facilities; breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and professional. The location was central, close to the ferry, buses, and a short walk to the metro and train. I can’t think of any real negatives, maybe the fact that tea and coffee were only available in the bedroom—a minor point.

The place is close to the boarding area and the city’s main spots. The only issue was an occasional water leak in the room, which was an exception.

The staff were constantly smiling, attentive and responsive to everything we asked for, and the lunch spread was generous with a really nice view. However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired: despite asking, the bathroom was never cleaned, the trash bin stayed full, and the sink and toilet were untouched, although the towels were replaced. Apart from hand soap, there were no cotton buds, toothpaste or toothbrushes, which I had received on previous visits.
