“10/10, one of the best homestays we stayed so far!”

The host family were the kindest people I’ve met, giving us a genuine Sri Lankan dinner, showing us how to eat like a local, and supporting us throughout. Avishka, the owner, is a wonderful guy who even took us on village tours. I couldn’t recommend this place more! The room was nice, clean, with a good bed, AC, and fan. The bathroom was big, towels and soap were available, and there was a nice table on the balcony for meals. Breakfast and dinner were amazing.

I had a truly wonderful stay at I Stay Hotel Sigiriya Sweet Home Guest House and can’t recommend it enough to anyone visiting this beautiful region. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and helpful staff who made me feel right at home. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with attention to detail that truly exceeded expectations. Every corner of the guest house reflects genuine care and hospitality. The food was absolutely delicious—freshly prepared local dishes bursting with flavor, and every meal felt like a home-cooked treat. One of the highlights of my stay was the tuk-tuk service arranged by the guest house, which was both reliable and reasonably priced, allowing me to explore Sigiriya and the surrounding areas with ease and comfort. Whether it was visiting the Sigiriya Rock Fortress at sunrise or taking a peaceful ride through the countryside, the staff made sure every part of my itinerary was smooth and enjoyable. Their suggestions for local attractions and help with transportation were invaluable. It’s rare to find a place that offers such a perfect balance of professionalism and a homey atmosphere. I Stay Hotel Sigiriya Sweet Home is truly a gem where the warmth of the people, the cleanliness of the place, the quality of the food, and the overall peaceful environment combine to create an unforgettable experience. Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic stay here! The place is peaceful, very clean, and run by a friendly and welcoming family. I enjoyed a delicious traditional local dinner and a great breakfast. They even offer a free cooking class where they show you how to prepare local dishes—such a fun experience! The owner also took me on a village tour in a tuk-tuk and arranged visits to Pidurangala, Sigiriya, and Dambulla Rock. He even taught me how to ride a tuk-tuk, which was hilarious and unforgettable! They also organize various safaris—jeep safari, cart safari, elephant safari, and village safari—making it easy to explore the area. I had an amazing time and will definitely come back again. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sigiriya, Sri Lanka!
