I love the buzz of the place; it’s close to Bhagsu Nag Temple and a good spot overall. However, in McLeodganj, taxi drivers won’t take you above the stand unless you pay, and if you have a lot of luggage, the steep 150‑meter road can be tricky.

I was disappointed that the room only had a small mirror; a full‑length one would have been better.

The private room was comfy and clean, right in the middle of Bhagsu, and we even got a free upgrade—Evan, we didn’t ask for it. We just didn’t know about the dormitory rooms, so if we had known we’d have chosen those instead.

It’s a good homestay that offers great value. It’s the closest spot to Bhagsu waterfall and Bhagsu temple, and the area is better than the crowded McLeod Ganj.
