“Beautiful hotel in Getsemani”

What a stunning spot right in Getsemani’s heart; even though it’s central, it’s oddly quiet and serene. The décor is immaculate, with meticulous attention to detail. We spent a lot of time in the cool room to escape Cartagena’s sweltering heat, and it was a real relief. The lady who greeted us and served breakfast was incredibly kind. The breakfast itself was fantastic, and I’ll miss the fruit and the lovely coffee. A gentleman covered the evenings—though I can’t recall his name. All in all, a wonderful stay in Cartagena that I highly recommend.

The place feels very intimate because there are few rooms, so you can sense its privacy and tranquility. The room is very clean, comfortable, and cool. Ana’s service is impeccable; she’s always attentive and takes care of everything. The breakfast is also delicious! The front door bell is very loud, so at night it woke us every time someone arrived. The common areas aren’t well ventilated, so it felt too hot inside the house.

“Struttura carina nel cuore di Getsemanì”

The location is great, on a quiet street but very close to bars and restaurants; the family‑run property is charming, with freshly prepared quality breakfast, a spacious room and comfortable bed, and a small but nice pool (not spotless). The shower in our room had a shabby spray head: it delivered little water and couldn’t adjust the temperature. Moreover, electrical cables ran inside it and were exposed just above the shower, which seemed unsafe with water nearby (there was a spark while we showered).

Superbly located and quiet, which is a big plus here. The breakfast is very generous and varied. The staff is attentive and very friendly. There’s no window—or rather one that faces 50 cm of concrete. The AC is hard to set at night and quite noisy.

Located in the center but in a quiet area, the room is spacious and clean. There’s little choice at breakfast; the only options were eggs, arepa, and fruit.
