“Tolles Haus, in die Jahre gekommen”
The hotel sits in a beautiful historic building right on the Alster, and there’s a parking spot in the courtyard; the staircase has a special charm. My room was spacious and tidy, and the bus link to Speicherstadt worked well for us. However, the room on the 3rd floor of the main building felt a bit too dated; swapping the patched carpet for a hardwood floor would bring it back to life. A kettle and/or mini fridge would also have been nice, and we missed a luggage rack or something to keep the suitcase off the floor or bed.
