“We would absolutely love to come back here in the future!”
The resort was impeccably maintained, with friendly and helpful staff and a freshly remodeled room; the lobby cookies were tasty, pools were spotless and the water temperature was perfect, and the staff clearly worked hard and took pride in their service. However, the ice machines couldn’t keep up with guest demand, the floor in our room got a little sandy and a dustpan and brush would have helped, and the hot tub was out of service during our stay—no big deal, but we would have liked to use it.

The location was private with easy Highway access, staff were very friendly, and the resort restaurants were excellent (though a bit pricey, but you’re paying for convenience); the morning view from our room was great and we had the beach all to ourselves during our stay. The hotel charged me an additional 84.75 to actually give me the room I booked, even though the room description was the same, and I paid it because I wanted the sea view I originally paid for, calling it an upgrade.
“Great Off Season Stay”
The property was dog friendly, in a nice location with a private beach, water activities, restaurants, and a coffee shop on site; the beach‑side food and beverage service was excellent, and the AM desk staff were wonderful and helpful, giving us extra time for check‑out as a courtesy. I paid extra for the “Balcony with Sea View” but got a view of the gutter and rooftop even after asking for a room change; there was plenty of vacancy in August, yet we still received a substandard room. The parking fee is in addition to the $45 Resort Fee, and there was a lack of information at check‑in.
“I did not stay”
I wasn’t happy with the resort and wanted to leave, but the refund policy denied any refund; I understand policies, yet the resort was only at 5% capacity and I’d like a full refund over 1k for a two‑star resort.
