The facilities are very good, but a staff member could look at some basic ergonomics; nothing major but small stuff, like the room temperature on arrival was exceptionally warm, in fact unbearably hot. There are no towel rails in the bathroom, no place to hang or put towels, another small thing that makes an experience notable if it’s missing, but it means nothing if it’s there. Overall the place is clean, well looked after, modern, and of a very high standard. A few very small things would not in any way put me off going again. Like I say overall a very pleasant experience. The facilities and staff were generally very good. The low rating for staff reflects the check‑in experience and a disappointing issue at breakfast. When checking in there was confusion over rooms, and the manager’s passive but abrupt manner made the initial interaction poor, but she was aware of this and went out of her way to redeem herself and could not have been nicer. As for breakfast, one of our three cooked breakfasts arrived in about 8 minutes, the other two arrived 15 to 20 minutes later, not an exaggeration. No one spoke to us or acknowledged what was a clear issue; it was ignored by staff, even an acknowledgement or explanation would have made this situation better. Ultimately one of our party finished their breakfast before ours arrived. The breakfast itself was very good.

The atmosphere, the beautiful bar and restaurant, and especially the staff who were brilliant at their job and so friendly, were all fantastic. The rooms and views are amazing.
