Because of the bus traffic, the location was good, the stop was right by the house. Check‑in was automatically online. The room had a conditioner, which was a plus. The instructions to get into the apartment were clear and easy to understand. The apartment had good working wifi. In the bathroom there was a decent washing machine, and because of the hot weather the clothes came out clean and sweat‑free. The laundry kit was missing a base sheet for the wash, and there were no hand towels. I don’t know if those were extra‑charge items, it stayed unclear. Since this apartment is on a busy road, the street noise was a bit disturbing, but we managed to muffle it with the fan.

I only spent a single night, and the street noise was awful because the window was completely old and broken.

Overall, the stay left a lot to be desired, but considering the low price, it is acceptable if you are on a budget. One of the best things about the property is its fantastic location right in front of a bus station, which connects you very well to the rest of Malta. Additionally, contrary to what I expected based on other reviews, the overall cleanliness was decent—nothing out of this world, but the staff did come by to clean the common areas a few days during the week. The room also has air conditioning, which is a plus, though it is older and requires you to empty the water container manually to prevent it from flooding the room. There were several major drawbacks starting with the check-in process, which felt very strange because the key was simply left taped up and there was no lock on the main entrance door when we arrived, meaning anyone could walk straight into the shared kitchen and common areas. You should also consider that the bathroom and kitchen are shared with other rooms, and the bathroom itself is very old, not fully functional, and makes taking a comfortable shower quite difficult while also being prone to flooding

The sheets smelled musty and were not washed, the mattress was sagging, the shower/bath was old, and there was a lot of street noise.

There was Wi‑Fi and AC, a shared kitchen and bar, a power adapter, and plenty of space to unpack; the bathroom was shabby and outdated, the window faced the balcony and could only be opened by stepping in, the temperature felt like a sauna, I sweated and the sweat replaced the water; the room’s AC was fine but set to 27 °C and we had to fan it under it, otherwise it boiled; the pillows were as hard as concrete, the blankets were small and uncomfortable, the bed sheet on the bed was stained; at 2 a.m. they started banging on the door, a drunken woman, after the stairwell slammed with a huge thud; she didn’t give up and tried to get into the room at any cost, after she was fed up and threw the shared area’s couch, she threw her high‑heeled shoes; the street was terribly noisy, which didn’t help that the door and window, which were the same, couldn’t be closed properly; resting was impossible in such an environment.
