“De ligging en bedden waren goed, de rest is voor verbetering vatbaar”
The location was good, and the beds had very good mattresses. The shower had almost no water pressure, the room constantly smelled of sewage, and the breakfast was cheap and thin.
The breakfast was scanty, almost everything was prepackaged. Not recommended.
The layout and interior design of the room were perfect for a family with two kids; it was spacious, comfortable, and highly practical, and the bathroom even had a bathtub. However, the hotel is still partially under renovation, the parking lot was full, and locating alternative parking nearby proved a bit tricky.
Good location and good breakfast.
Our stay at Hotel Adler was unfortunately not as great as we had imagined. First the positives: the rooms look great and are comfortable. That was it. For tall people (1.80 m and up) the beds are ideal; for everyone else, especially children, they are far too high. Additionally, our bed creaked with every movement at night, so restful sleep was impossible. The room itself was clean, but hidden spots like the upper shelves were dusty. The lighting is beautiful, with lots of indirect light, but overall too dark. The bathroom is very bright, the toilet lid is loose and not very clean. My husband had to sleep in the extra bed because we were afraid our daughter would fall out of the narrow, too high bed at night. Breakfast can be added on site for €6 per person. Really cheap, but not worth more than the bare minimum. No fruit or vegetables (except apples), the buffet room is dark and the seating area is icy cold. We had to go back up to get our jackets. The rolls are supermarket reheat rolls. Even our 3‑year‑old daughter had to pay the full breakfast price. For what a 3‑year‑old eats, that seems too much. We have had better experiences in cheaper hotels. Our conclusion: okay for a night on the way, but we cannot recommend a longer stay. Too bad.
