“Cheap & cheerful as usual!”

I loved the Retro Room. Easy overnight from the airport, near a bus route if within bus hours, and they can call you a reliable taxi outside bus hours. The working A/C was essential in Larnaca’s heat/humidity. Clean. Friendly staff. I’m a repeat customer. It’s my go‑to in Larnaca. Not for you if you want a flashy upgraded hotel. But if you’re after a good deal, everything clean and functional at a decent price, I recommend it!

“Don’t do it”

Good air conditioning. Dirty, needs a lot of maintenance, beds were very uncomfortable and had no mattress protector. Sheets were clean but the covers were not and had various stains. The whole place smelled of stale smoke. Very noisy until 3.30, still noisy when we left at 4am; we decided to sit outside for the last half hour instead of staying in the room.

“Don’t expect a relaxed, comfortable stay”

Air Con & WiFi. Rude staff, no consideration for guests when cleaning at stupid hours in the morning, rock hard mates, grotty room, have to give your door key to reception ever time you go out, can’t lock the doors at night , shower is in a bath tub, grotty towels, the toiletries is one push container for everything, fridges don’t work, you are hassled by cats at the pool and also in your bedrooms Not relaxing at all Other customers complaining whilst we were there too Your view is the rest of the street, not city or sea views
