I didn’t get breakfast, so I had to bring my own, but the kitchen was nice enough to prepare meals. The bathroom door knob was broken, which made it a bit hard to use, but that was the only issue.

The spot was spot on for what we wanted to do. The Wi‑Fi was terrible, and ants swarmed our room, which was quite annoying. I also found trash in the cupboard left by previous guests.

Checking in was a breeze and the staff were fantastic! The only downside was the bed in our room; it was too springy, so I hopped onto the single bunk bed, which felt much better.

We enjoyed the quirky campground, especially spotting the different unit names; staying in a caravan and cabin was fun, and being close to the river and beach was great, with a short drive back to Thames. We have nothing negative to say!
