Guntli’s family Guesthouse

The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home; whenever we needed something extra they were just a shout away and sorted it out. The only thing we missed was a proper kitchen, but given the setup they did their best and left a few plates and glasses in the cupboard for us. Overall, a warm stay despite the limited cooking space.

Staying with that family felt like being part of their own clan – they were so welcoming that the three nights we spent there flew by in a blur of good conversation and comfortable evenings.

“Optimaal vakantie gevoel”

We got a warm welcome, all our questions were answered, the beds were super comfy and the room even had air‑conditioning, plus the train station is right outside the door – perfect spot for a quick trip. The only hiccup was the steep stairs leading up to the place, which could be a bit of a hassle.

“No para repetir”

The place is in a good spot and everything was clean, but there was no kitchen or dishes, and the stairs were awkward, especially with kids. We also had to go through the owner’s house to get in, and when we left the owner got really upset about the kids’ mess, moving a lamp, complaining about towels on the floor and even the brochures we’d left out. He told us checkout was at 10 am even though the listing said 11, and his tone was pretty off‑putting – we just packed up and left.

“Een hele fijne plek”

The family running the place are genuinely nice and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived; it turned out to be a very pleasant stay overall.
