Simply gorgeous, the rooms are modest and simple with a breathtaking view, and the breakfast feels indulgent. We struggled with the air‑conditioning—it was either freezing cold or unbearably hot.

All the staff were extremely courteous and always ready to help, the hotel stayed fairly quiet even though the castle nearby was packed (probably because of its location), which suited me perfectly. The breakfast buffet was very good with just the right amount of variety—not overwhelming but enough to satisfy every palate—and the coffee machines offered several options like cappuccino and espresso.

Monemvassia is a fantastic town and the hotel boasts an incredible view. Everything was perfect, but keep in mind the hotel can only be reached on foot.
