The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot, yet both upper floors smelled like roasted marshmallows (or burning wire insulation); the key card to the room required many attempts to work the first time and never worked again, so I stood outside my room for 5 minutes swiping the card before calling my brother—who was asleep inside—to let me in.

The beds were at least comfortable, the room was clean, and we had air conditioning, but there was no elevator in the building, the breakfast room was too small for all guests with insufficient tables and chairs, and the breakfasts in general were not good, offering no real choice of food.

We booked for five guests but only got four beds, and when we told the receptionist they replied “that’s not my problem,” forcing us to find another room; the place was also infested with cockroaches.
