If you’re after a real experience in Koh Yai Noi, this is the spot—you’re literally surrounded by paddy fields. The accommodation is cozy, with AC and nice bathrooms, clean and charming, all traditional. Mr. Bangmee and his family are incredibly sweet and make you feel welcome; they handed me sticky rice and freshly cut coconuts, and even took me into town to show me local food spots. In the low season (June‑July) you’ll have the whole place to yourself, just deal with a little rain, which isn’t a problem.

Bang Mee and his family gave a great welcome, with small morning treats like mango sticky rice and bananas, plus fresh coconuts. They helped arrange our excursion and departure transfer. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bedding was good. The location is excellent—close to restaurants and the market yet perfectly quiet. We saw water buffaloes, egrets, and calao from our balcony! The little pond is very pretty and didn’t bring any mosquitoes. Highly recommended at 190%.
