The restaurant and service fell short; the food was overly salty, especially the cod with marinara and the orzo, and the husband’s fried cod was greasy. The room itself was fine, but dining was a no‑go.

The location was good, but the floor in our room was filthy—after showering, I walked to the bedroom to get dressed and found my feet black from the dust. The new dining menu feels out of place for a mountain lodge, trying too hard to be chic; I’d rather see comfort food again.

The restaurant was excellent with tasty food, and the dirty martinis were surprisingly good. No complaints.

Breakfast was great, the beds were comfy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were no bedside or table USB ports, and I had to ask for body wash in the shower because only shampoo was provided—this was unacceptable, though they later gave me a nice shampoo/body wash set.
