The staff, particularly Kim, were warm and welcoming, generously sharing their knowledge of Puerto Viejo and helping us make the most of our stay.
The hotel itself was beautiful and spotless, which made my stay enjoyable.
The breakfast was honestly the best we had on our entire trip, with a great selection and plenty of options.
The pool area was a lovely spot to relax, and the short 10-minute walk to the beach was a major plus.

A private entrance leads to a garden‑view villa that includes a kitchen with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kitchenware and a barbecue. The living area provides air‑conditioning, a flat‑screen TV with streaming services and a seating area, while two separate bedrooms each contain a bed and share two private bathrooms equipped with walk‑in showers and a bidet. The villa also offers a washing machine and a tea‑and‑coffee maker.

The owner was really enthusiastic and the location plus pool were great; the first days we had the whole place to ourselves, which felt spacious and lovely (though when it’s full the rooms get cramped and privacy disappears). They let us borrow bikes, which was convenient, and even did our laundry—very nice. On the downside, hygiene was lacking: no cleaning service, we had to ask for fresh towels and sheets ourselves and empty the trash, which would have been appreciated at least once during our four‑night stay.

We had a fantastic time and felt very comfortable! The accommodation was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. We even received a free upgrade to the small apartment “Casa de Flores,” which was spacious and had a well‑equipped kitchen. Kim is a very friendly and helpful host, always reachable on WhatsApp. At our request, we also got a delicious breakfast on one day. We especially liked the pool, the lovely garden with a cozy common area, and the small sports area. The beach is about a 5‑minute walk away, and with the free bicycles provided, you’re in Puerto Viejo in roughly 10 minutes. We would definitely recommend the place and would return anytime! The bed did creak a bit when moving, but it didn’t bother us too much.
