The stay was very comfortable and the location was not far from Ilfracombe harbour; we even got to use a lovely lounge area in the evening, which was a great bonus since we were traveling with a friend.

The B&B on the edge of Ilfracombe, in a historic building that’s been wonderfully renovated and full of charm, sits in a quiet residential area with free street parking. The rooms are well equipped and the English breakfast is excellent. It’s well positioned for bus trips to Combe Martin and hikes toward Exmoor National Park. The price‑performance ratio was unbeatable, making it the cheapest B&B during our two‑week tour of South England. The downside is that you have to walk 20‑30 minutes into town, with some uphill, and we even drove to the town one evening for dinner.
