“Tired stylish squaky tents where you will wake up at 5am”

The staff were absolutely fantastic, but the tents were tired and mouldy, the bed squeaked just by walking around, and mosquitos were the main bedroom guest, making it hard to sleep because the tents are only 1 m apart. Either a mosque, a neighbour signing, or animals running on the roof wake you up at 5 am. The pool is falling apart and you can hear termites eating up the bathroom, and it’s way too expensive for what it is.

We had an unforgettable stay at La Cocoteraie, feeling genuinely welcomed and cared for right from the moment we arrived. The staff’s attention was excellent, always available to help and ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel is beautifully clean, peaceful, and safe, and the warm, family‑like atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. Every detail made our stay special, and we felt very comfortable throughout. “Prachtig en een aanrader.”

The garden is gorgeous and photogenic, the pool is great, and the restaurant serves tasty food. Everything was clearly explained and the staff were very kind and took good care of us. The tents are a bit older and there’s some weather in them, but it’s not disturbing; the bathroom and tent are clean and tidy. On the beach there are many lively spots, but there are also quiet places.

I had a serene stay, and the staff could not be any friendlier. The glamping tents in the garden provide a great contrast to the port area, and the Indonesian food at the restaurant was also terrific. I would 10/10 recommend.
