We’ve stayed here before; Louise and Andrew are lovely hosts and the accommodation is spotless. The property is on a quiet lane, so sleep quality is almost guaranteed. The room we got was a bit small and pricey, but it was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. It was a shame check‑out was at 10 am, especially after a party the night before; an 11 am check‑out on a Sunday morning would have felt like a luxurious indulgence.

Being a small property in a quiet spot, the owners offered very personal and welcoming service; the rooms were spacious, clean, and well furnished, the bed was comfortable and I slept soundly; the town and castle, both worth a visit, are within walking distance, so I’d definitely return.
