The surroundings are okay even with the highway nearby, and it’s still peaceful to sleep. The layout is surrounded by grass instead of concrete. Breakfast was decent and the young man at the breakfast restaurant was friendly. The hotel looks run down and really needs a fresh look and deep cleaning because there’s rust in the bathroom, it’s yellowed by years, and the shower curtain is of terrible quality and just hangs there. The way to get from the bed to the wall is sideways, and we found room 007 very stuffy, not very clean. The young man at reception sprayed the room with a deodorant spray right before we entered, which was unbearable to cover up a stale sweat smell on the bed sheets and blankets.
