The hotel is an ancient building kept in excellent and clean condition, located a few minutes' walk from the forest, with a good breakfast and friendly staff; there are many antiques (mostly clocks) in the lobby, breakfast area and throughout the hotel, offering great value for the price. The room lacked coffee-making facilities and a refrigerator, but when we asked, we received an electric kettle and were shown the hotel’s ice bins.

Top. Bussaco is worth a visit. From here you can easily go to Coimbra.

The room was nice and spacious, the bathroom was great, and the breakfast offered a wide choice and was good, but the beds were a bit less comfortable, hard because of the metal springs.
