Breakfast was hearty and satisfying. The kitchen and dining staff were polite and helpful. In truth, we loved everything.

We really liked this hotel for its location, the super cordial service from the staff, the great breakfast, and the surprise of snacks they leave available for guests; that extra touch makes all the difference.

The hotel’s air conditioning and water pressure were fine. The fridge was not working, which was a big problem. The price was reasonable, the staff were very good, the location was good, the interior was pop and stylish, the place was clean, and the breakfast was very tasty.

The place was a nightmare from the start—everything was broken and the location was a noisy, crowded part of the city that felt overpriced and dirty. The rooms were tiny and the staff treated me with rude disrespect right when I arrived, insisting there were no higher‑floor rooms except the second floor. After I pushed back and they argued, they finally gave me a higher‑floor room because they actually had plenty of them. I later saw a single man get a high‑floor room immediately, but when a single woman asked for the same, they discriminated against her, which feels like a common practice in Paris. The décor was grotesque and psychedelic, with bizarre stairs that zig‑zagged through the corridors, forcing me to drag my luggage up and down. The worst was the manager—a rude, arrogant woman who gaslighted me at every turn. The bathroom door in my room wouldn’t close because it was too big for the frame; I reported it on the first day, and the next day a handyman came and had to use a chainsaw to cut the wooden door, creating a lot of noise and fine sawdust that covered every surface of the tiny room. I asked for housekeeping to clean it, but when I returned in the evening nothing had been touched—every surface was still covered in sawdust. I complained, and the phone in the room wasn’t working, so I had to go down, and the reception argued with me, claiming the room had been cleaned, which was never true. They said the repairman didn’t make it dirty and didn’t know or care that a chainsaw was used. They yelled at me rudely. After a lot of stress, housekeeping finally cleaned the room. I also asked about the gym, sauna, etc., and every time they replied rudely or just yelled at me.
