The location was great.

The place was beautifully situated, the staff were helpful and the hotel was pet friendly, but there was no elevator and the restaurant wasn’t open.

The calmness of the setting, its rural feel, the comfortable and spacious room, the excellent bedding, the modest but sufficient breakfast, and the overall great address were all positives, with no negatives.

They offered bike hire, a swimming pool, movie nights, and games for kids, but the rooms could have been a bit larger and there were fewer dinner options.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic with many children, the food selection was fine though a bit carb‑heavy, yet we were charged a $35 tourist fee on top of the quoted booking fee and a $50 refundable deposit that was supposedly refundable.
