The young lady at the restaurant was magnificent; her energy was contagious. They need more staff like her. The man at reception was not friendly, which set the tone for the entire weekend. Having a people‑person at reception really makes a difference.

“This is great value for money if you need a place to stay in PMB”

Staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are very well maintained, and the rooms are neat and clean. The road noise in the front‑facing rooms is quite loud but not unbearable.

“I was quite disappointed it was not what I expected, I definitely will not stay at the lodge again.”

The room was very spacious compared to most double rooms. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. Definitely the cleanliness. There was dust and dirt in the lamp shades, in the corners of the dresing table, on the bathroom mirror, on the bathroom shelf, on the window sills. The bathroom had dead insects smashed up and stuck on the walls and the door. The parking area was way too far from the rooms and also too high. There was alot of noise at night from the generator and the traffic.The description of the rooms on the website says that the rooms have a garden and river view which is false as the only view you get from the rooms are the roof tops of the bottom chalets and the factory across the lodge

“Excellent stay away from home”

The accommodation was amazing, providing everything we needed, and the food was excellent.
