Hotel & Restaurant Adler

the location is very good, breakfast was alright. This was a disappointing stay. We arrived to a completely empty building, with instructions on how to retrieve the key - making us feel like we were staying at a cheap air bnb and not a nice hotel. No staff, no help, nothing. Complete lack of hospitality. The breakfast was nice the next day but didn't really make up for us feeling as if we were almost squatting in an abandoned building with no soul. Bedroom is fine and clean but pillows very uncomfortable, and no kettle in the room. I'd understand if this was cheap, but it wasn't

“Great place to stay”

Breakfast was very good and we had one evening meal in the restaurant which was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend Hornberg as a really nice old town, great for public transport and a good base for visiting the Black Forest area

The location is perfect and the rooms are clean.

The room was spacious, clean and quiet, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious – definitely worth recommending and we’ll be back. Nothing else to complain about.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast tasty, and even though it’s right in town it’s surprisingly quiet. The only downside was the lack of assigned parking.
