Just as I was about to travel to La Merced, they contacted me saying the room wasn’t available, even though the reservation had already been confirmed by the hotel. They even blamed the Booking system.

The place was comfortable, spotless, and I felt at ease in the room; the gentlemen were very friendly and hospitable, making me feel well welcomed. I know the climate is hot, and my room didn’t have a fan; although there were windows, I’d prefer the room to be closed for privacy, but I didn’t request one since I didn’t stay there long. At first it was a bit hard to locate the room because there was no sign indicating its name.
