La maison d'hôtes Ambelar is a very comfortable place in a true Moroccan spirit. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful; M'BARKA, the owner, is genuinely welcoming and attentive to guests, making it a very good address. Thanks again for the warm welcome. Fabienne and Laurent. Nothing to report.

The room was spacious, the pool was nice, there were date palms with ready‑to‑eat fruit in the courtyard, and free parking was just outside the front gate. The site is close to the main fossil exhibition, offering great value for money. Water pressure was very low, and the location is quite far from the town centre.

This stay as a stopover after Merzouga is recommended. The room was huge, the pool very pleasant, breakfast excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel could use a bit of renovation.

A small, simple, quiet guesthouse with a very nice and open‑minded host. A motorcycle could be parked safely in the courtyard. A small pool for a quick dip. Breakfast was good, dinner was decent but still has potential. Nothing.
