The location was perfect, the train station is a 5‑minute walk and many great cafés are nearby. The room was very quiet in the courtyard. We had a toilet and bathroom in the hallway, which was no problem at all because everything was very clean. There is a communal kitchen with everything you need, which is very convenient if you don’t want to eat out every day. Check‑in was super easy because we received all the information in advance. We felt very comfortable & will gladly come back.

The only bright spot was the spot right next to the train station. Paying almost 300€ a night for what turned out to be a hostel was a joke. There’s no 24/7 front desk—you're left to your own devices. The room felt like a medieval monastery: beds were torture devices with the cheapest, most awful mattresses and pillows. Windows barely opened, giving a claustrophobic Soviet‑dorm vibe. The AC button on the wall was dead; instead they handed us a roaring jet‑engine fan that made sleeping impossible. No power adapters were available, so you had to bring your own. The only iron in the building was locked in the basement and they wouldn’t let us use it. The bathroom was a disaster: the toilet door was broken and jammed, so every night we had to blast the bright overhead light and wake everyone up just to pee. Housekeeping never came for the 3 nights and 4 days, and towels were never changed—just two tiny ones for a shower. Hygiene was lacking: only a single bottle of “10‑in‑1 soap” was provided, and nothing else.

The apartment was large and comfortable—perfect for a four‑day stay where we could cook for ourselves. The staff was a bit unhelpful; everything had to be done digitally, which left us missing a personal touch.
